Joseph Olivar and NCASSR

Let me start by saying that if you've not attempted to summarize your life's work via some "about me" page like this- you should try it. It requires considerable contemplation and is more challenging and interesting than it appears.

My knowledge of computers and internet safety comes from having direct access to some of the world's cleverest geeks, whom I have worked for and with during my early years in the industry. The rest, I think, presumably comes from a readiness to take chances, make errors, and then take learnings from them.

I started working in the tech security industry in the '90s as a programmer, writing various programs and toolkit for a renowned tech company that mainly sells computers, up until this day of age.

Since 2009 I've enjoyed working for companies about computer security issues and speaking at different events or conferences. I also do talks worldwide (mostly online nowadays) for various technology summits and expos, amongst many others.

NCASSR is a widely recognized cybersecurity news platform that attracts readers from different technology fields, including database managers, IT professionals, network security experts, researchers, hackers, technologists, and tech lovers.

Our Mission

At NCASSR, we will find the latest cybersecurity news and in-depth commentaries on current and future cybersecurity trends and how they are shaping a more secured, digital world.

Our Vision

Governments and companies worldwide have repeatedly spoken of the need for better cybersecurity measures as we confront a surge in vulnerability exposures in recent years. We aspire to uphold NCASSR's virtues in being a resource for transparent cybersecurity content as we cover these incidents and will make sure to also strive for ideas and advancements to further strengthen cybersecurity in general.
